There are as many methodologies for facilitators to convening people, hold space for generative conversations and doing meaningful work together.
When designing this section of the guide, I curated resources which I’ve used most often when designing participatory processes.
Most recently I’ve used them with core project teams, who have various levels of experience in participatory design and facilitation, to support the development of two different emergent projects – a social innovation lab and stakeholder engagement series featuring talking circles.
Listed in the order I wove them into the work.
- Principles of dialogue
- The Circle Way
- Open Space Technology
- Design for Wiser Action
- A simple meeting design
- Chaordic Stepping Stones
